Ranthambore has always been a natural habitat for the tigers and as per the details available there was a very big population of tigers always lived here. Ranthambore was the favorite hunting ground  of the Maharajas of Jaipur.Even during British period the English royalty visited the place in big number.Around 130kms from jaipur the Ranthambore wild life sanctuary offers the jungle life in abundance.
